Last weekend was a pretty exciting one. Le Tour de France descended on my home town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire. I have never seen so many people in one place, and the whole town was buzzing. The weather was glorious and the atmosphere electric. It was worth hours of standing in a crowd for those crucial seconds in which the riders whizzed by in their way to the finish. The Tour is such an incredible feat, and a true representation of pushing yourself to the limit physically and mentally, and I feel honoured to have even gotten a glimpse of it.
